If you’re not getting the number of followers you’d like on your social media, there are ways to gain more viewers. Remember the old saying that if ‘you tell something to two friends and then they’ll tell two people and so on and so on?’ Well, that works for Facebook too!

Have your employees (and your friends) send “invites” to all their friends to “like” your page. If you have some employees that aren’t Facebook savvy, here are some step by step instructions:

Invite

Follow these steps asking your Facebook friends to like your page:

1. 1. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ (your business)
   2. Under Community section (right rail on desktop or middle tab on mobile) click Invite your friends to like this page
   3. Select all friends you wish to invite
   4. Click send invites button. You’re done!

Like – Business Page

Follow these steps to like your page:

1. 1. Open Facebook.
   2. Type in (your business) into the search bar at the top of the page, select the name, then click on the business name once the results populate.
   3. Click the ‘like’ button underneath the cover photo.

Like – Business Posts

Follow these steps to like the posts that you publish:

1. 1. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ (your business)
   2. Scroll through the posts until you find the post(s) you want to ‘like’ –
      the right answer is all of them 🙂
   3. Tap or click the thumbs-up icon below the thing that you want to like.
      a. You can choose other reactions if you tap & hold the ‘like’ button until a menu with reactions pops up, then tap the reaction yo want to use (choices are Like, Love, Wow, Cry, Anger)

Comment

Follow these steps to comment on a post that your business publishes:

1. 1. Go to: https://www.facebook.com (your business)
   2. Scroll through the posts until you find the post(s) you want to ‘comment’ on.
   3. Click Comment under the post or in the white box that says Write a comment.
   4. Type your comment.
   5. Press enter or return to publish it.

Share

Follow these steps to share a post that your business publishes:

1. 1. Go to: https://www.facebook.com/ (your business)
   2. Scroll through the posts until you find the post(s) you want to ‘share’
   3. Click Share option and select Share Now

Tag

Follow these steps to tag someone in a picture that your business publishes:

1. 1. Go to: https//www.facebook.com (Your business)
   2. Scroll through the posts until you find the photo you want to ‘tag’ someone in.
   3. Click the photo to expand it
   4. Hover over the photo and click Tag Photo at the bottom.
   5. Click the person in the photo and start typing their name.
   6. Choose the full name of the person or Page you want to tag when it appears.
   7. Click Done Tagging.

So there you go. Some simple easy steps to gaining more viewers by liking, sharing, commenting, and tagging on Facebook. Now it’s just a matter of getting your employees and friends to do these simple steps and then sit back and watch your followers grow.
